The 14×12 Power Chalet Log Cabin – DDW comes complete with uPVC Double Doors in Anthracite Grey and uPVC ‘Tilt and Turn’ opening windows. All glass is both toughened and double glazed – perfect for extra security and insulation. Not only is there the toughened double glazing, but there is a 5-point locking mechanism on all doors and windows. Whether you plan to use the log cabin for storage, or for a home office, this extra secure space will provide that additional peace of mind. These cabins are under 2.5m to the ridge, allowing you to bypass most planning permission restrictions that may apply to residential builds. There are extra deep 145mm roof purlins to ensure the strength and rigidity aren’t compromised by the reduced height. Our 44mm, high-grade interlocking logs are enhanced by our innovative notching system which allows you to build your cabin with confidence, knowing everything fits tightly and is where it should be. Fixings and instructions are included to allow you to build the cabin yourself, as well as provide additional telephone/email support and instructional installation videos if required. We give back! This also includes a gutter edge drip plate to allow rainwater to run off every side of the cabin Our cabin is under 2.5m to the ridge of the building – under the threshold of most planning permission restrictions. We use 145mm roof purlins to ensure the strength and rigidity of the log cabin aren’t compromised The walls of the log cabin use 44mm thick high-grade Scandinavian Timber. The floors and roofs use tongue and groove boards and tanalised timber bearers are provided to lift the log cabin further off the ground to protect the flooring Features such as external sills on all windows and an aluminium low threshold sill on the doors are provided to add extra functionality as well as improve the aesthetic of the building. We will contact you in advance of delivery to confirm a date and book you in! Please ensure you’ve read our full delivery information page so you are familiar with the full delivery process. The delivery arrives on a pallet Your building will arrive on a pallet on the day specified. Delivery is kerbside and moved with a pallet truck. Unload building for assembly Each component can be unloaded safely from the pallet ready for you to assemble. Postcode Restrictions Power are unable to deliver to the following postcodes and areas; Off-shore postcodes (e.g. HS, ZE, JE, IM, some PA, IV, KW, PH postcodes) and the Isle of Wight Further Information – Power will send the shed out 2 days before your specified delivery date.- The shed will then be in the depot near to you in time for the delivery date.- Providing you have given a mobile number, when the item is scanned onto a delivery vehicle you’ll be sent a text from the courier.- Delivery is typically made on an 18 ton truck unless you have specified for a smaller vehicle (therefore if access is an issue please let us know).- We do request that the driver contacts you before arriving as well- Delivery can be any time between 8am and 6pm (therefore do not arrange for installation on the same day as delivery)- The courier has a high delivery success rate but in the very unlikely event that we’re unable to deliver or if a problem arises, it will be re-arranged for the following morning.- The shed is delivered on a pallet – delivery is moved with a pallet truck and where the driver can take it is down to the driver’s discretion (although they are usually very helpful).- Delivery is contactless and so the driver cannot take the shed off the pallet and move it for you.
